Topic: Words Matter, The language card issuers don’t want you to use, and why
Description: Please join me in a conversation on past, present and future of editorial and how one word can have a massive impact on interpretation. The reality is that while content does have editorial liberty, credit cards are a highly regulated industry so therefore words do matter especially when there is an advertising relationship. This roundtable is to discuss the consumer interpretation of the issuer and the publisher perspectives.
Bio: Jeannine is a seasoned credit card marketing and sales executive. At ConsumerTrack, her role is consulting with card industry clients on consumer engagement strategies and marketing initiatives to fuel growth for GoBankingRates in this competitive industry. Jeannine is an expert in maximizing digital campaign performance with channel mix, creative development, and a great customer experience. Just prior to joining ConsumerTrack, Jeannine was the Sales Director at Experian Interactive supporting their credit card and personal loan advertising program. From 2000-2017, Jeannine served as Vice President of marketing and acquisitions for the nation’s largest bank, JP Morgan Chase, where she was responsible for acquisitions marketing, managing bank’s digital affiliate marketing programs, engagement platforms, and cross-channel marketing initiatives. Prior to joining JP Morgan Chase, she held Global Marketing positions, including associate publisher, in the health and financial subscription industry
